Activate Geo SCADA Mobile Server

Hello.

I am currently using Geo SCADA Expert version 2023 November 2024 and I would like to access the SCADA system from my mobile device. I have installed Geo SCADA Mobile app, but I cannot connect to the SCADA server from my phone.

Can you please advise on the correct installation for Geo SCADA Mobile? Do I need to set up a separate server for Geo SCADA Mobile or is it enough to configure the existing main SCADA server using the Server Configuration screen? Is there any documentation I can review? I kindly ask for your help.

The documentation is on the installation disk or in the iso file. 

You have to purchase licensing to get it to work and use the Mobile App. The Mobile app does not show the mimics, but you can setup Mobile views or something like that. I have only tested it since non of my customer wanted to use it.

If you want to see Mimics you can setup the Virtual ViewX Server, again licensing applies.

Both the Mobile server and Virtual ViewX can be run on the same machine as the Database server you just have to make sure it has enough resources, mostly memory and CPU. Virtual ViewX can be a bit difficult to use on a small screen but I have tried it and it is usable.
