Sorry if this is in the wrong forum since there are like 50 of them and I don't know where this best fits.
I've had access to dce for some time, but was never intended to be the primary admin, so I've really messed with it very little.
The question I have is - if you add a device into dce, is the thought that you would set up notification rules for devices there, and TURN off the local ones? We've never really messed with rules in DCE, but it's sure a pain in the rear when a something happens on a unit - like a battery end of life warning, and you come in and there are 100+ emails from one device. I would definitely like something more unified, but want to make sure I understand the setup first.
Secondary question - I am not in dce a lot, and when I am, it's mostly in the installed client. When trying to access the web client and type in the credentials, the screen goes blurry, and it won't login, but throws a blank error. May be some bug with the version I'm on, but thought I would throw that out here in case someone knew.
