EcoStruxure Automation Expert is based on IEC 61499 and we expect the offer to attract customers to this new and innovative approach to automation.

As part of the offer, we are also launching a software only version (Soft dPAC) that can run on Linux devices. As a result we are confident that will see distributed information and control applications appearing on PC-based controllers and devices like industrial Raspberry Pis.
