M262 & MQTT & CAN?

I'm a big fan of IEC61499 and I presented it to multiple End Users.
They are really enthousiaste about it, but they had a few questions that could be linked to your roadmap.

Let me put it here; 

• When will M262 be able to be managed by EcoStruxure Automation Expert running IEC61499?
• Do you have an MQTT library available? If not when?
• Do you have a CAN library available? If not when?

Thanks for being an ambassador of EcoStruxure Automation Expert and a valuable member of this community.

To answer your questions:

- The plan of Modicon M262 controller is being investigated as we speak. It would be very helpful for us to understand the exact customer need, or the reasons why the need could not be fulfilled by current dPAC platforms.

- MQTT support is currently being planned for V22.0 in April 2022.

- For CAN Open, we would love to get in touch with you to groom and provide a solution if you have specific project needs.

The End User dosen't know much about automation and was convinced about EcoStruxure Automation Expert after my presentation 😎.
