Asset Advisor ED Release Notes | Q2 2024

Release Notes 7.19 - 7.21

Our quarterly release is focused on answering the needs of different stakeholders and each release includes updates across major axes of development of Electrical Distribution scope under EcoStruxure Power. Here are key outcomes per each axe or category:

  • EcoCare Offer evolutions to keep enriching new offers and some existing offers in the portfolio, with focus on analytics and features to enhance customer value.
    • Oil transformers asset types get evolutions related to advanced monitoring, with the integration of the aging index computed thanks to ETE sensor into overall asset health indicator. Also, new assemblies will help to leverage indicators feed from any transformer to enhance the partial health and maintenance indexes
    • Tickets created by platform, and the email notification if activated, get an hyperlink that will facilitate access to site or asset related to ticket, in one click (requiring user to be logged into application)
    • New tab to showcase Energy efficiency with new indicators looking after efficiency on asset type motors. Those indicators are fed by new algorithms and may be used later for other asset types. A relevant functionality is the ability to review the trend by comparing different periods of time frame for the sampling used.

  • Dashboard to visualize & work with data and reports,
    • To ease ticket management, we have improved the filtering options on any ticket grid available in the platform with a field named as Source. In parallel, we have updated all tickets, and the rules triggering them for future, to ensure any ticket is reported under a given category, including manually created tickets, too.
    • Maintenance mode functionality, released last quarter to identify assets monitored in the particular period of being serviced, keep receiving updates after first steps
    • New languages are used for Fire Prevention report, in addition to several minor improvements inside report templates
    • Evolution for the analytics related to greasing in motors and Climasys cooling unit, in turn requiring new indicators

  • Connected Service Hub to make sure execution is efficient & well managed
    • Several evolutions focused on improving monitoring of gateways: new filtering for gateways and assets non communicating, and deep review of ticketing for sites with multiple gateways, at gateway and asset level under each gateway.
    • Simulator to estimate initial aging of assets, running at the time we start monitoring, has received a package of improvements, that were identified after deployment last quarter
    • More small evolutions for the teams working on remote including Universal Panel gateway configuration request, mapping of indicators during initial configuration of PD100 or along operation of MV circuit breakers.

  • Integration to make sure the use of what we do across different systems,
    • Our EcoStruxure Asset Advisor API has been updated with Fire prevention indexes, when computed for LV panels and MV switchgears.
    • We have been developing for several months integration with our bFS/bFO systems (CRM tool) to increase consistency between both systems. This functionality, apparently for internal use, creates a link with master data we manage for our customer contracts.
    • We deliver integration with another internal tool for gateways fleet management. Gateways are an important element in our EcoStruxure architecture, and now we will better manage them as a fleet, linked to our customer sites and names, along with many other internal properties and operational information.

All information related to these features can be found in the internal SE Release Note 7.19 - 7.21. They are also available to customers and external users directly on the AA ED platform.

Each intermediate release appears to focus on enhancing different aspects of the platform introducing new features to improve user experience and functionality: how we display information for customers and internally, manage services delivery process, build better analytics and deliver necessary improvements with monthly cadence. The following view is intended to detail features per release timeframe and areas of development focus; click to zoom.
