Cause
There is a need to understand the security measures in place for credential transmission between clients (Remote and Web) and the Sigma server, particularly regarding encryption.
Resolution
- Usernames are not encrypted during HTTP transmission from either the Remote Client or the Web Client to the Sigma server.
- Passwords are encrypted during HTTP transmission from both the Remote Client and the Web Client to the Sigma server.
