Cause
The user interface requires specific steps to initiate a connection, which may not be immediately intuitive without prior experience.
Resolution
To connect to a device or site in I/NET Seven, follow these steps:
- From the main menu, select Connect. A summary list of available link devices or sites will be displayed.
Note: A dash (-
) next to a device name indicates it is currently unavailable for communication. An asterisk (*
) indicates that the controller name or type has changed. - Highlight the desired link device or site from the list.
- Select OK to initiate the connection. Once connected, the status bar at the bottom of the screen will display the connected levels.
Warning
Important: Ensure that the selected device or site is available and correctly configured before attempting to connect. Misconfigured or unavailable devices may result in failed connections or unexpected behavior.
