Cause
Licenses are tied to the original PC and must be exported and re-imported to function on a new machine. This process is necessary when:
- Replacing or upgrading a PC
- Consolidating engineering tools
- Migrating from VisiSat v2.0 to v2.1
Resolution
Follow these steps to transfer VisiSat licenses:

Export License from Original PC
- Use the VisiSat license management tool to export each license file.
- Save the exported files to a secure location (e.g., USB drive or network share).

Transfer License Files to New PC
- Copy the exported license files to the target PC.

Import License on New PC
- Use the license management tool on the new PC to import the license files.
- Ensure VisiSat v2.1 is installed before importing v2.0 licenses.
