Cause
When configuring Input Types there can be some confusion with the terminology used to describe the two types of Outputs that can be controlled from an Input event.
Resolution
- The "Control Output" options refer to the Control Output defined in the Input Type's General tab.
- The "Input Control Output" options refer to the Control Output defined in the individual Inputs General tab.
An explanation for a related example would be:
- If a common output for all inputs of the Input Type then;
- On the Options (2) tab enable the Activate Control Output On Alarm and Deactivate Control Output On Restore.
- On the Configuration tab of the Input Type, set the Control Output to the output you want to trigger.
- Else if each input has a separate output then;
- On the Options (3) tab enable the Activate Input Control Output On Alarm and Deactivate Input Control Output On Restore.
- In each Input set the Control Output to the output you want to trigger.
