Issue
The Sum Alarm will not trigger when monitoring other Sum Alarms.

Cause
The Sum Alarm is ignoring other Sum alarms for detection of alarm criteria.
Resolution
There are two options to resolve this.
- Configure a 2nd SUM alarm to use criteria that triggers on any of the points that would have triggered the Sum alarm you want to monitor and the other points.
- You can create a Change of State Alarm to monitor the alarm state of the 1st Sum Alarm. The second Sum alarm can then detect that the Change of State alarm is active.
(It might be practical to hide the Change of State alarm by setting the priority to a low value and filter your default alarm view to exclude it in order to avoid double alarm entries in the alarm view of Workstation)
