Sigma configurable data location compatibility with Remote Alarm Manager (RAM).

• Sigma 4.05 SEB and later
• Remote Alarm Manager (RAM) versions 1.2 and 2.0

Cause

Starting with Sigma 4.05 SEB, configurable data locations are supported. However, Remote Alarm Manager does not support custom data paths. This mismatch can lead to alarm failures or system instability if the default path is changed.

Resolution

To maintain compatibility and system reliability:

• For Sigma 4.05 SEB and later
  • Always use the default Sigma data location:
    C:\Sigma\
  • RAM versions 1.2 and 2.0 do not support custom data paths, even if Sigma allows configuration.
