Cause
There is a requirement to use DESfire EV2 cards in a Security Expert system. Currently, the Security Expert Smartcard Readers' specifications sheets indicate support for DESfire EV1.
Resolution
New Smartcard Readers with firmware v1.04 build 229 and above support DESfire EV2. Older readers' firmware can be upgraded with the new firmware. Contact your Local Country Support for details on upgrading the firmware.
