Issue
IO Modules must be added to a NetController that cannot be powered down.

Cause
NetController cannot be powered down in order to install new IO Modules.
Resolution
There are two methods that may be used when replacing or adding IO modules.
Method 1 -- Power down NetController.
- Turn off the power supply.
- Disconnect the batteries.
- Replace or add the IO module.
- Turn the power supply on.
- Reconnect the batteries.
- Reload the NetController.
Method 2 -- Remove power from the IO bus only.
- Turn the power supply off.
- From the Continuum Workstation, navigate to the appropriate controller.
- In the Command Line field in Continuum Explorer, type the following command -- Set IOUPower to Off
- Replace or add the IO module
- Turn the power supply on.
