Issue
My Server has a 100,000 alarms and a lot of old trend data. How can I delete them quickly?

Cause
The APP folder under the station holds all alarm and trended data. When this folder gets too big, i.e. >500 MB the Server functionality can slow down while working with this large database file.
Resolution
- Stop the Server station
- Rename the existing APP folder to something other than APP
- Restart the Server station. When the Server station restarts it will check for the presence of a folder called APP and when none is found it will create a new one and use that one to archive alarms and trend data.
