After connecting a new Optimum Living Space Sensor, the LCD is blank other than being backlit.

Cause
Only Living Space Sensor bases running application version 1.0 or later can read the Optimum cover models
Resolution
Upgrade EBO to v3.1.x or later and SmartX controller to fw v3.01.x or later. At the time of this being published, firmware revisions prior to 3.01.x are not compatible with the Optimum Living Space Sensors (SXWSCDPSELXB, SXWSCDPSELXW, SXWSCDXSELXB, SXWSCDXSELXW).
