Cause
Resolution
If you see symptoms such as:
- Download attempt shows “loading device driver” followed by a hand icon that does not move
- Error message: “waiting for service pin”
Then:
- Open Computer Management:
- Right-click My Computer → Manage
- Navigate to Services and Applications → Services
- Stop the following services:
- Niagara
- Niagara LON Tunnel
- Verify these services are not set to start automatically on reboot.
