Issue

A Niagara R2 Enterprise Server station fails to start. The Standard Output Window displays the following error:

ERROR: Cannot add key entry: 8390 java.lang.IllegalStateException: Missing class for: 24

Cause

Conflicting or missing jar files. This typically occurs when non-standard jar files (e.g., Smartware or Distech) are present, which are not part of the official released version of WorkPlace Pro.

Resolution

• Verify that all jar files in the station are part of the official Niagara R2 release.
• Remove any third-party or custom jar files that are not included in the standard installation package.
• Restart the Enterprise Server station after correcting the jar file set.
