Issue

How to tell the difference between a Wireless Window Switch (SED-WIN-P-5045) and a Wireless Door Switch (SED-DOR-P-5045).  They are physically identical.

Cause

Identical physical features

Resolution

Power cycle the switch (remove the battery for 60 seconds and then insert again) and verify the LED blinking pattern to confirm if it is a window switch or door switch  (2 blinks for window, 3 blinks for door).

Or read the identification label on the printed circuit board.
