Cause

Users may be unfamiliar with the correct node commands or the process for node configuration using terminal utilities.

Resolution

To node a BAS outstation, follow these steps:

1. Connect to the Controller:

   • Use either the Pocket Terminal Utility or HyperTerminal.
   • Plug the lead into SK1.
   • The terminal should display "ready".

2. Use the Following Commands:

   Command	Description
   O	Initiates the node command (Note: This is the letter O, not zero).
   H132	Used for specific controller types (⚠️ Not applicable to x96 controllers).
   S	Displays the current node setup.

   Note: Always verify controller compatibility before using H132.
