Polling configuration is not optimized, leading to poll overruns and inefficient data refresh intervals.

Resolution

1. Maintain Recommended Poll Always Count

   • Set Poll Always count to 250 (recommended level).

2. Adjust Cycle Time

   • Check averageExecuteTime in Poll - Status tab.
   • Increase cycleTime in Poll - Config tab to match averageExecuteTime + 1 second to prevent overruns.

3. Optimize Minimum Poll Interval for Shadow Objects

   • Review minimumPollInterval for each Microsmart point shadow object.
   • Increase from default 1000 ms where possible.
     • Example: For space temperature shadow objects, set between 30,000 ms to 60,000 ms.
