Cause
There are a number of possible issues with the Visio 2013 and Visio 2016 files when running in Compatibility Mode. Compatibility Mode is required for Workplace Tech and Workplace Tech Editor since they are both designed to use the older .vsd file format. The mentioned Visio versions both use .vsdx as a native file format.
