Cause
Need to direct connect with a straight through or normal patch cable from a computer or laptop to the AS, Xenta, BCX, ACX
Resolution
Since 1998, the distinction between uplink and normal ports and manual selector switches on older hubs and switches are obsolete. If one or both of two connected devices has the automatic MDI/MDI-X configuration feature there is no need for crossover cables.
Now you can plug your laptop right into the Ethernet port of the device with just a regular patch cable.
