Cause
Can DHCP be used for network settings or does the IP address need to be static
Resolution
The MPM's do not support DHCP, only static IP addressing. It is planned to have DHCP on the new MPM platform that is in development. There are no dates or firm roadmaps available, but DHCP is one of the desired features of that new product line. The DHCP support is planned in the future generation of controllers which means a completely new hardware platform. This would not be a firmware upgrade on the current generation of products.

Then input the static IP address for the MPM
