Issue
When trying to update the OS of a BCX9640 to a BCX4040, the update process seems to succeed but the controller remains unchanged after the update process completes.
Continuum indicates no errors during the update process.

Cause
Incompatible bootloader.
Resolution
Update the controller to the most current version of OS for the same controller model before updating the OS with the new model firmware.
