Controller Repeatedly Cold Starting

Issue

The controller begins to cold start repeatedly after functioning normally for several months. During each cold start, only part of the pntfle.rec file is loaded before another cold start is triggered.

Cause

This behavior is typically caused by an incorrect or missing default gateway (GW) address in the controller configuration.

Resolution

1. Verify Gateway Address:

   • Use Pocket Terminal 32 to check the controller’s default gateway setting.
   • If no gateway is required, set the address to 0.0.0.0.

3. Update Controller Image:

   • Download the image release 6a or later
   • Switch the controller to use this image as the active version.
