Issue

Analog outputs only put out 4 milliamps.  If you override them on they will put out 20 milliamps.  Should I send this controller in for repair?

Cause

When the controllers output HOA switch is in the AUTO position an output value of 20mA is indicated but the actual signal produced by the output is 4mA.  When the HOA is in the On position the output potentiometer can be adjusted to produce a 20mA signal.

Resolution

Move the controller with the analog output issue to another location, or remove all analog output connections to determine if the behavior caused by the field device wiring.
