Hi. everybody.. My brother has a XW Pro 6848 inverter and the insight home had some issues, so he bought another and I went to his home and now he has another problem, the inverter stays on "ac pass through" and wont stay on inverter mode. Is there a setting for this. I did the batteries settings as the manual says and still not working. It says inverter status enable but not working. I disconnect the grid from the inverter and starts working. get the grid back again and stops working. Any idea on where to read or a setting to check? Thanks..

I am not surprised you have not heard a solution. The internet solar forums are full of other reports of the Conext XW and SW unusable software settings and bugs. The solutions are to circumvent these bugs by controlling $1000's of solar gear with a $60 Raspberry Pi. Seems the software engineers and designers have let this go on for years (6 years ago was first report of my AC Support charge/invert issue).
The SCP was a solid 1990's implementation and the InsightHome is like a parody of the SCP done by The Onion: while it has a web interface, it's really too awful to believe they were serious let alone charging $500 for it.
Oh, and all the bugs in the XW and SW have been preserved to thumb also their noses at customers.
Now Victron, Magnum, Morningstar and Sol-Ark are a couple decades ahead software-wise.
Schneider hardware still top tier though.
