Schneider XW6048 hybrid inverter-charger

To all,

Is it possible to get a technician to come to the Ottawa area to fix the problem? We've asked several contractors, but the problem is still not resolved.  If yes, what is the cost..?

Problem:

In 2019 we acquired 2 Simply-Phi batteries. Contrary to what we had been told, the transition to lithium was not the simplest. Adjustments are necessary for all changes of seasons.

We are using Schneider Solar's technical support to adjust the system parameters and try to compensate for the fact that the XW 6048 is not directly compatible with SimplyPhi batteries. This is tedious and expensive, because it increases our propane consumption tenfold, uses the generator's warranty hours and jeopardizes the durability of the SimplyPhi as well as the 10,000 recharges or 10-year warranty.

We have contacted Schneider to obtain an update to the operating software (firmware) of the XW 6048 inverter/charger. Schneider sent us a new version of the software, but we were unable to install it, even with the assistance of Schneider's technical telephone support. Actually, technical support said it was impossible to install the patch…

What we want today is to see with you what options are available to us to increase the compatibility between the inverter, reinstall the battery monitor (?) and increase our production capacity by adding solar panels. We would also want to feed and supply our garage/workshop, which is not attached to the house by connecting the garage to the increased system of the house or by installing an independent system in the garage (?).

We remain at your disposal for a field or telephone meeting or at your offices to see more with you what options are available to us solutions for the energy supply of our home off the grid.
