I have 2 MNB-1000 controllers that are factory reset. I need to re-address them to a new IP and configure the units for spares. I am not able to get to the configuring windows using Workplace Commissioning Tool. I have set my laptop to 10.1.10.44 with subnet at 255.255.255.0 with no success. My software version is 5.8.6.1781. At the moment I am using the demo mode, would that be an issue. What am I missing? Thank you.

After a reset or fresh from the factory the MNB-1000 IP and MS/TP ports are disabled. The Ethernet port is the only port enabled. You need to set WPCT to BACnet Ethernet to access the MNB-1000 controller via its Ethernet port. Once you have gained access, its BACnet/IP port can then be enabled.

Thank you for your timely response. I am connecting directly from my work laptop to the MNB-1000 with a ethernet cable and I get the attached pop-ups. It appears that an adapter is needed to interface with, if so, is there a part number for this. As you can tell, I am new to this BACnet protocol.

The second link was the fix. Thank you!
