Extend INET RS-485 controller LAN over RS-485 over Ethernet device possible?
Hi There
I have an old INET card access system with a new controller in our Parkade. I have CAT6 run in underground conduit and i'm trying to use a pair of RS-485-Over-Ethernet converters with no success. Most of these converters need to know the Speed (9600), Data Size (8), Parity (none), Stop Bits (1), Flow Control (none), however, the 7798C documentation doesn't discuss any other parameter other than Baud Rate. Is this possible using a standard converter or would I need a proprietary Schneider converter?
