We work at a campus facility with multiple buildings and access points.
We get frequent requests (at least once in two weeks) regarding this one particular door fob that somehow does not allow anyone to access it. We usually reset the door by reloading it and it works and then stops again after sometime. Recently, when the door stopped allowing any access again, we opened the list view of all the doors in that access controller and we observed that the force lock state was true for this door and not the others.
This issue has been happening with one other door as well in a completely different building.
Can someone help us understand why do these doors automatically go into force lock and how can this be fixed?

I'm not an Andover Continuum guy but based on a search of the Knowledge base it seems that this may be due to the Door Force Lock configuration, if it's set to Comm Fail it could enter this state if there is a communication issue.

The door has no numeric attached to the force lock schedule. Therefore, both normal and comm fail options are unchecked. It worked well for another month and went into force lock again.

You would be best to get the branch or partner that installed the system to look further into the issue.
