Sisko JLehr Sisko
‎2025-02-20 04:48 AM

Alarm threshold policies will replace sensor threshold configurations on June 1, 2025.

Migrate your sensor threshold configurations to threshold policies soon.

To migrate sensor thresholds to alarm threshold policies:

  1. Click Start migration in the banner or go to Alarms > Thresholds and select a threshold.

  2. Select target sensors: Filter by device type, manufacturer, model, senosr, type, and sensor name, or toggle Target specific device sensors only to manually select one or more sensors. Use the Search field narrow your selection.

  3. Configure threshold: Enter the high and low threshold values that cause warning and critical alarms for numeric sensors. Click the arrow to select units. You can change the values in the fields to visualize the thresholds in the graph. Note: The data shown in the graph are an example, not actual data.

  4. Configure hysteresis: Hysteresis settings reduce chattering from frequently occurring alarms.

  5. Summary: View the summary and Save the threshold policy.

Delete old threshold: To avoid generating double alarms, select Continue to delete the old threshold from the system (recommended).

Otherwise, you can click Keep to keep the old threshold configuration (not recommended).

What happens to the existing sensor thresholds configurations, if it is not migrated to alarm threshold policies before 1st June? Doesn't it work or migrate automatically ?? @JLehr

Hi @Harikishor_M_G,

There is no automatic migration. You'll need to migrate sensor thresholds to threshold policies by June 1. Otherwise, you'll have to reconfigure them.
