Hi @saramorsy,

It isn't exactly clear what you are trying to achieve. Can you provide more details? Is it two seperate, independent systems? You could look at combining the two systems into one, and run on the two Servers as previously, this would allow sharing of data seamlessly between the two.

Otherwise, you could look at using OPC Client and OPC Server capabilities to share data between the nodes, if you want to keep them separate.

I have two water stations, and each station is running its own AVEVA Plant SCADA system. I want to be able to monitor both stations from each other in runtime — meaning, from Station 1, I want to see the data from Station 2, and vice versa.

I'm considering using clustering — creating Cluster1 for Site 1 and Cluster2 for Site 2 — and then combining them into a single project that allows both sites to view each other.

Each site has its own static IP address, and the distance between the two sites is about 20 km.

How can I implement this setup using AVEVA Plant SCADA?

Hi @saramorsy

Thanks for providing additional information.

I think as you have suggested, combining the two projects into one, then run this new unified project on both sites would be the best approach, allowing you to see data from each system and vice versa.

With regards to how to implement this, it can depend on the templates and complexity of your projects. You could simply create a new project called "CombinedProject" then include the two site projects underneath. Compile and see what errors you have and resolve them.

Another approach could be to export all config from one site, and import it into the other site, but that could take some time and be labor intensive.

Let me know how you go.

Hi @saramorsy

Yes it is possible to include two clusters projects into Global Project. Please look information into Citect SCADA documentation versions v.5.5 , v.6.0 , v.7.0 with tags Global Include Project or Global Display Project and You find all info what you need with explanation.
