To downgrade SCADA from 2018 to 2016
I am working on Schneider PLC. I have a project that was made in CITECT 2018. Customer has CITECT 2016 licence. The customer wants to downgrade the project to CITECT 2016 so he can use his licence. Please provide the best possible solution..

Unfortunately it is not possible to down grade from newer to older versions. The biggest problem is the graphics file format changes and is not backwards compatible. It might be possible to export tags (variables, trends, etc.) and other project configuration, then import back into an older version (noting that some new fields might not be supported).
I also wouldn't recommend running on Citect SCADA 2016 (v8.00) since that version is long out of support and won't receive any software and security updates.
I'd recommend you get in touch with your sales rep and request a license version upgrade.
Depending on how long you want to run the system, it might also be a good idea to use Plant SCADA 2023 to maximize the supported life-cycle of the software.
