Using default “Drive” equipment type in PLANT SCADA to operate a FBD in M580

Hi Everyone,

I'm trying to use default “Drive” equipment type provided with the Situational Awareness Starter  in PLANT SCADA 2023.

On PLC side, I use  a M580  and I'm also using  Modicon GPL (General Purpose libraries) for Control Expert.

I want to use the MOTORGP DFB to program motors. 

Has anyone ever operated this FDB with a default equipment type of PLANT SCADA 2023?

Hello,

The MotorGP DFB ( Modicon situational libraries ) can be utilized only along with Modicon Libraries 2022 - General Purpose for AVEVA System Platform (OMI). So, the user cannot have plant SCADA as supervision along with MotorGP DFBs.

I hope you are aware of Ecostruxure process Expert offer, it has got the situational awareness templates which is having Plant SCADA as supervision component and the MotorGP DFB as control participant object.
