Master Popup

Hi, the first question is - I am not sure if these are standard in all plant scada installs or custom to our site?

Second question is - 
I am looking at Master_Popup_HD1080.
I can see it picks up some of the information from the equipment that has been assigned to that equipment.
Though I am not finding where the information from the equipment is passed to code.

I am attempting to add a third Tab as shown and have assigned details to the below fields in the equipment as below.

Custom 1 - FP_Test - name of new Popup
Custom 2 - Test - Title of Tab (PageGetStr(x))

For the third (new) Tab

I have found a work around to achieve the overall goal. However, this method of using the Master Page > Workspace would be the better solution, if possible.

It is difficult to answer your first question, I can't get enough details about what you are referencing. I'd suggest to take a look at a fresh installation of Plant SCADA, see the default projects and include project:

System
Include
Library_Controls
Library_Equipment
SxW_Style_Include
Tab_Style_Include
SA_Include
SA_Library
SA_Controls
IndustrialGraphics_Include
Example
ExampleSA

So anything outside of this is custom for your site. Something an Engineer or System Integrator would have created or configured for your site. For example, that popup page "Master_Popup_HD1080" is not part of the default library or content in Plant SCADA.

With regards to your second question, it is difficult to make suggestions based on the screen shots and description you have made. I'd recommend taking a look at the ExampleSA project for how equipment and popups are used.

It sounds like you have got something working for your needs, but I understand you'd like to keep the coding practices and configuration consistent.

Do you still have contact with the person who originally developed the project?
