Dear all,
My client PC was unable to pull the license from my Plant SCADA,
Here is my license information:
Do I miss out any setting on my client PC?
I am able to ping, access and receive deployment from my SERVER to my client PC.

Hi @SJS,
It sounds like you are having trouble getting your client licensed? Can you describe your architecture and where the USB Sentinel License is physically located? I would assume you have a Server (which runs the IO, Alarm, Report and Trend) on MachineA and then a Control Client running on MachineB. I assume the MachineA has the USB Sentinel license attached and it is working as expected?
When the Client starts up on MachineB, it will check for local license, and if none available, it will request a license from connected servers (which are running on MachineA).
If this is not working, I'd recommend the following approach:
1. Check the syslog.dat on the client, to see if any errors or messages explaining why license is not acquired.
2. Check the kernel on the Client, specifically that connections to the Server are established and good (see Page Table Tran - for details). Check the General window to see what is being requested from the client, in terms of what license it is requesting. For example, if it has the citect.ini setting [Client]FullLicense=1, it would request a Full License, instead of the Control Client license, which would fail, since you only have one Full License, which is used by your Server.
If you are still having issues, I'd recommend reaching out to Customer Support to help troubleshoot this further.
Kind regards
Olivier Vallee
