EcoStruxure Machine SCADA Expert – Asset Link is a Software Integration tool to engineer Integrated Automation Systems using EcoStruxure Machine SCADA Expert (EMSE) and Modicon controllers – Process Automation Controllers (PAC) and Machine Controller.
Asset Link will
Create: New objects in EMSE if the asset has been added to the controller
Re-Create: Replace objects in EMSE based on a new template if they are changed in the controller
Update: Update attributes of the asset for communication, descriptions and initial values to match the controller
Remove: Identify (but not remove) objects from EMSE when they no longer exist in the controller
For New projects Ecostruxure Machine SCADA Expert - Asset Link should be considered once the standard objects have been validated. Using the approved objects to generate the rules Asset Link will ensure that assets are automatically created and updated based on the control. Linking to the controller ensures comments and values are only entered once resulting the a high level of configuration quality.
