who to connect SC450RMI1U to a network

hallo

I have here a SC450RMI1U connected to my network switch and the connected the serial cable to mij pc
And i have installed "APC PowerChute business Edition Delux"
But there is no connection and the switch is not finding the UPS
I can see my pc on the switch but the UPS i don't see

can some one help

Well the SC450RMI1U communicates over serial only. Have you installed the Powerchute business edition agent? This is the how the UPS and computer communicate.
