what is the difference between these UPS models Please? Hoping to buy one asap

Are you guys at APC having issues with the new gaming UPS Model: BGM1500B? It seems alot of units popping & smoking from reading reviews on amazon. Have you guys determined the issue?
what is the difference between the APC UPS BR1500MS VS BR1500MS2?

I assume the BR1500MS2 is a newer version but Was there an issue with the BR1500MS that was fixed with the newer version or something?

There is also a bestbuy version Model# BN1500M2. What are the differences between it & the BR1500MS2?

Also do all of these models feature pure sine wave on both battery and while plugged in? If not which ones do not?

Sorry for the multiple questions, Im hoping to buy one in the next couple days & its difficult to find specifics online, also trying to avoid an issue if purchased online.

I'm hoping someone from Shneider electric can answer for me? Or a customer that may own both models BN & BR(M2)

And Im getting an "application error" when I try to comment through the APC forums. The only way I can leave this comment is through the Activity Stream on my APC forum profile. What is going on did APC delete my forum thread? Something fishy is going on here, All I want to do is buy an APC Line Conditioner/voltage regulator & an APC UPS battery backup! I would leave screenshots here of both the errors but it wont let me do any attachments in activity stream.

Do a search with Google or one of the other search engines.

Both units have a link to the APC sales data. For each model and there are manuals. You can download and read.

From what I see.  You may want to double check my findings.

The BN1500M2 is stepped sine wave.

The BR1500MS2 is pure sine wave.

I've been googling for the past week. I downloaded & read the manuals for all models mentioned but they contain only the most basic information. I learned which models are pure sine wave but only an APC rep can answer the other questions, if they are willing.

Locally they only sell simulated sine wave unfortunately. It's extremely frustrating we are constantly forced to purchase from amazon because of issues like this. Not sure why APC would only ship basic models to every brick and mortar, especially since these are so heavy & have lots of problems due to shipping which I am trying to avoid.

Since a computer or other devices with an Active Power Factor Correction power supply. Most times need a pure sine wave  AC input or they can act strange on Battery Backup power. It would make sense for most vendors to have both type UPS's in stock.

YES I agree it would be better if APC would provide brick & mortar stores with other options rather than just simulated sine wave models. I am still awaiting a response from APC please? For one I would like to know if they have resolved the issue with their new gaming UPS model, I would prefer to not get one that blows up & have to go through the hassle of RMA & the possibilty of damaging my PC?
