what is the charging time of the BE550G with a 150 A battery ?

this has a very tiny charger, only about 3 watts. it will take a very, very long time and as Mike mentioned, APC cannot support any third party battery usage.

APC typically recommends that you charge the battery for at least 16 hours to ensure maximum runtime. I am not sure what you mean by a 150A battery though. The standard battery for these units is a APCRBC110 which is a 12V battery system rated at 7Ah. Other battery systems are not supported to be used w/ the BE550G.

The original battery is 7Amps, right?
If think if it takes 12-16 hours to recharge a fully depleted 7amps battery on this unit, it would take 12-16 hours more for each 7amps added.
These small units are not made to be charging the battery for such a long time nor run for hours after hours, since 150 Amps would make it run for many hours while on battery. The internal circuitry, the inverter, might heat up to a point where it might reduce the unit lifetime at least.
