One of my SMT1500C had to contend with an 8 hour power outage. After power was restored it did not turn back on until I drove to the site and pushed the power button. It is on SmartConnect so I have the event logs. I do not see an option to restart after power loss within the button based menus and I don't have a network card installed. Am I missing something or is the only way to make this work correctly to install a network card and change the "On-Battery Shutdown Behavior" to "Restart when power is restored"?
The event log is attached. It warns about AC power loss correctly, runs for a while, shuts down the plugs, keeps network running, and then shuts down the network. I verified this behavior back in the shop.

Please call out what UPS ID & Firmware is on this unit along with serial number. Verify the LCD Menu is set to Advance vs Standard.
I have appended the user manual for your reference here:
Lastly, connect the system to a computer running the APC PCSS application and see if the option is available.

Yes, you just asked frontline technical support questions. If you're not familiar with this piece of equipment, there's no need to comment.

Is quite apparent you’re not the right person to address this issue.
Your company is probably best served by someone else who has more technical experience and trouble shooting skills. ☝️
As anyone with the most basic field experience would have followed SOP. Your replies have affirmed all of the most basic so called front line troubleshooting have not been done or validated! 🤦♂️
The fact you haven’t provided the requested information here shows your lack of professionalism and ability to follow basic instructions for troubleshooting.
Why bother wasting another persons time who has given it to you freely???
Your only reply is asking if this is AI??? Do you think AI would really waste its time engaging you and offering relevant information and action items to complete?!? 👎
