shutting down a network when UPS senses power issues

I have APC15oo running on WIN10 machine but also have a WIN7 and Ubuntu server running on network.

I want to be able to issue shutdown commands to all my systems when a power outage is sensed and before batteries run out.

How can I implement a script in PowerChute?

Hi,

Both PowerChute Business Edition and PowerChute Network Shutdown offer the option of running a command file / script. You work need to upgrade the UPS to a Smart-UPS to run either Business Edition or Network Shutdown and you will also need a network management card installed in the Smart-UPS to allow communication with Network Shutdown.

Hi,

What version of PowerChute are you running? PowerChute Network Shutdown, PowerChute Business Edition, or PowerChute Personal Edition and what is the version number?

Stu,

We (Schneider Electric Support) do not support running command files / script with PowerChute Personal Edition however another forum member has posted instruction. See
