Thinking about buying a UTS6, and using it in manual mode with auto-start built in to my generator. What will happen if utility power is fine and you turn your generator on, for a test run for example. I'm assuming the UTS will just ignore it, right?

Hi studbike, yes as long as the AC mains power is good, the ups should use that to supply power to the circuits. Hope this helps.
