Is there is a way to get an e-mail notification when the unit goes on battery power? I sow this is not possible with PowerChute personal edition and that the business edition doesn't support the RS800, maybe there is another software?
many thanks
Fabrizio

unfortunately there is no other software.
if you use Powerchute business edition with this UPS with a 940-0128 simple signaling cable and in simple signaling mode, you will lose most functionality from the UPS such as voltage readout, runtime, etc but you will gain email functionality as far as getting an email when the UPS is on battery but thats about it. the current status of the UPS will be either "On battery" or "Online." I don't recommend setting this up but if you absolutely need email you could think about it..
