constant Red light and beeping issue with APC 1100bx
so, when I turn off my Pc I still leave my ups on, but whenever I turn off the UPS after its plugged in and not used for a long time (say 4-5 hrs), the red-light blinks and it constantly beeps. It only goes off when I plug it in again. It doesn't make any issue when Plug out the ups immediately after turning off the PC.

Hi Chanu,
Perhaps you have already found the answer. But for completeness sake, I will try to answer your question.
Can you advise when you turned off the UPS, is the UPS plug pulled out or connected to AC mains but the power is off?
If yes, then the UPS will think that there is no power to equipment and switch to Battery mode. It will slowly discharge until low battery and LED will blinks and constantly beep. This is normal as all UPS are designed this way. It is not supposed to be off.
You can turn off the UPS to completely turn off the connected equipment. But the UPS should be always plugged in to a mains plug (in ON position) so it will trickle charge.
The only way to stop the UPS completely is to pull out the Battery Connector to disconnect the acid batteries. But then, it is troublesome and it is not really the purpose of the UPS.
I have same question in my head once, and got the answer after some research.
