I have a br1500g that beeps about once a second for 30 seconds then stops, repeating every 20 minutes. This cannot be muted. No other faults are indicated on the display. I don't have a Windows computer so I cannot check to see if there are any log entries.
Unit has a brand new APC battery and seems to operate as it should. APC support says my unit is older and probably is failing due to component wear, but are otherwise unhelpful.
If I purchase a replacement unit, I was thinking maybe the old one could be used as an external battery pack. Has anyone tried this?

The BR1500G cannot be connected to another BR1500G/UPS and be used as an external batter pack.
