Good morning, can someone please explain to me the difference in the bypass function (put/out) of my SRVS3KI UPS?????

Another question... does the difficulty in turning off the UPS with the on/off button happen to me alone??? To turn it off I have to disconnect everything including the yellow connector on the back.

If you press and hold the power button until you hear a beep the unit should turn off. Please confirm this happens when you (Press & Hold) the power button until you hear a beep.

PUT: Engages the bypass mode.

OUT: Disables the bypass mode.
