br1300lcd win 7 64bit hibernate issues
I have a win 7 pro 64bit/ raid 5 hdd array pc connected to br1300 via usb.
first issue:
when ac power is removed from ups and save battery timer has expired, pcpe 2.2 displays hibernate in 10 sec window.after display of this 10 sec window, pc takes 3 minutes to cease all activity and enter s4 state. but the br1300 shuts off the power to the pc at the 2 minute mark. this is not good for the raid array. by using powercfg -h off pc will shutdown within the 2 min ups/ac off window, but without creating a hibernate file. how can the 2 min to ac off behavior of the br1300lcd be extended?
second issue:
if pc is sleeping(S3 state) and ac is removed from ups, the pc does not wake up, and when ups finally discharges to shutdown point the pc has not done either a hibernate or clean shutdown, requiring a raid array validation/repair process. how can the pc be made to respond to the usb signaling from the ups indicating that ac power has been lost?
