Unit has had batteries replaced in past 2014 , when ac outage occurs the ups does not keep things running and the Lcd remains off.
After the ac outage ends, i have to press the power button on the ups to even let regular power pass through to the appliances.
So the ups is now worse than a regular powerbar and i just thought to ask here, if there is some common part that I myself could replace to fix that before i scrap the batteries and ups? They are about $200 cad to replace, and sending this to a repair shop in canada will also cost that much.
i may as well shop around, .

Hi Stev,
Do you have the model number and serial number of your UPS and of the batteries you recently purchased? Most of our batteries have a warranty of 2 years, so if it turns out the batteries you purchased came from a bad batch, you are entitled to a replacement.
Also, when you lose power to the UPS, does it run on battery at all, or does it shut off immediately?
Nicole
